According to the latest Netscout Intelligence Threat Report, there were over 9.7 million Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks in 2021. That is 14% higher than pre-pandemic levels. 2. Introducing atlantech|softphone (February 22, 2022)
Do you need a desk phone any more? Many of our customers are electing not to purchase/lease handsets and instead have their workforce use soft phones. What is a softphone? It's software that can act like a telephone, even presenting a dialpad on your screen. Softphones bring all of the functionality of a desk phone onto a laptop or desktop computer or mobile device. I've used one for over 10 years and couldn't imagine going back to using a desk phone. Now, many of our customers are using them, too.

Evan Tegethoff, Bitsight VP of Solutions Consulting and Tom Collins of Atlantech Online had a spirited discussion about the current state of cyber risk, how Bitsight calculates their ratings, what are common shortcomings found when rating companies and how Bitsight validates third parties. Atlantech Online uses Bitsight ratings and highly recommends the service to others.
