Atlantech Online Lights 800 8th Street, NW

Atlantech Online announced today the installation of fiber into 800 8th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001, adding another office building to its portfolio of "fiber lit" buildings in the DC Metro region. With fiber on site, tenants at 800 8th Street can take advantage of high speed Internet access at attractive price points when compared to currently available telecommunication circuits. For instance, tenants can enjoy dedicated Ethernet connections at 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps starting for as low as $750 per month. Many other bandwidth options are available at various price points. Additionally, tenants will be able to enjoy flat rate business phone service delivered via Atlantech’s fiber network and be on-net with our Hosted PBX service.

Located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, DC, 800 8th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 is a smaller building than where Atlantech Online typically pulls fiber. However, multiple tenants had Type II circuits from Atlantech Online so it made good business sense for all parties that the building be lit on the Atlantech Online DC Metro fiber ring.

"Atlantech Online usually lights larger office buildings but demand at this location required that we bring fiber into this address," stated Ed Fineran, President of Atlantech Online. "In real estate, location is everything. This building is in the desirable Chinatown neighborhood and is now located on a fiber artery which gives this 35,000 square foot building a huge competitive advantage and provides tremendous value to tenants," continued Fineran.

Atlantech Online invites all remaining tenants of the building that do not have Atlantech service to start saving money and eliminating bottlenecks with their current Internet and telephone access offerings.
