Atlantech Online Named a 2026 Moxie Award Winner for Boldness in Business

Atlantech Online has been named a 2026 Moxie Award winner for Boldness in Business. The award was presented on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the 10th annual Moxie Award Ceremony and Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, before hundreds of Washington, DC area business leaders.

"This award is especially meaningful because it recognizes not only our company but also the people who make Atlantech what it is."

About the Moxie Award

Now in its 10th year, the Moxie Award recognizes DC-metro organizations for Boldness in Business. In a business context, an organization with "moxie" is innovative, fearless, and willing to embrace risk to achieve its goals.

Applicants are evaluated on innovation, growth, industry leadership, community service, and local achievements. Winners are chosen by an independent panel of judges drawn from the regional business community. Since its founding in 2017, the program has engaged nearly 1,500 organizations, and this year 131 were named finalists across 16 categories.

The Path to the Award

Becoming a Moxie Award winner is a months-long process:

1. Nomination. EagleBank, a Moxie Award sponsor, nominated Atlantech.
2. Written application. Atlantech submitted a detailed questionnaire about its business, culture, and what sets it apart.
3. Finalist interview. Three executives from regional companies spent 90 minutes with Ed Fineran, exploring how Atlantech is bold and different, how it does business, and how it cares for its customers.
4. Meeting the judges. Rashad Smith, Atlantech's Manager of Technical Support, represented the company before the panel of judges at Westwood Country Club.
5. Award night. Winners were announced live at the ceremony on October 29, where Ed accepted the award on behalf of the Atlantech team.

What Being Bold Means at Atlantech

Since its founding in 1995, Atlantech has had one focus: taking care of its customers so they can focus on their own business. Atlantech delivers fiber, phone, and data center services to business and government using its own infrastructure, including data centers in Silver Spring and Rockville, Maryland.
