We walk the building with your facilities team, identify every analog line, and confirm where it terminates, what device it serves, and which carrier currently bills for it. This step matters because it's where surprises surface, like the modem nobody can locate or the fax line that has been billed for three years while unplugged.
Existing numbers for the fire panel, elevator, alarm panel, and fax lines are ported over so nothing changes. Central monitoring stations keep receiving calls from the same caller ID, keeping AHJ documentation clean.
The unit goes into the telecom closet, wired to power, battery backup, and the IP uplink. Cellular failover is activated and tested before the first analog line moves over.
Each analog line is moved to an FXS port on the new appliance, and fire and elevator lines are tested end-to-end with the monitoring center after each cut, so critical circuits see minimal or zero downtime.
Tri-SIM technology automatically selects the strongest signal from any of the three major wireless carriers. If conditions change while a line is running on LTE, the unit switches to whichever network is performing best right where it sits, which means stronger, more reliable connectivity for the life-safety systems that depend on it.
