Which Operator Connect carriers are certified for the US?
Microsoft maintains a public directory of Operator Connect carriers certified for the United States, accessible through the Microsoft Teams Admin Center under Voice, then Operator Connect, then All Operators. The list includes carriers of varying types: facilities-based providers, resellers, hyperscaler bolt-ons, and global incumbent telcos, and the number of certified carriers changes as Microsoft adds new partners.
Not all certified carriers are equal in infrastructure, support, or pricing. The certification confirms that the carrier meets Microsoft's technical requirements for Operator Connect integration, but it does not certify support quality, network reliability, or pricing fairness. Organizations should evaluate each carrier based on whether it owns its voice switch and numbering or resells infrastructure, where support engineers are located, published response times, and pricing transparency. Atlantech Online is a Microsoft-certified Operator Connect carrier that is also a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) certified in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, with SOC II Type II compliant data center facilities in Silver Spring and Rockville, Maryland. The full list of certified carriers is available inside the Teams Admin Center for any tenant with Teams Phone licensing active.
