Expands Fiber Lit Building Presence in Washington DC

Atlantech Online announced today that it has lit 1140 Connecticut Avenue, NW with fiber. The additional fiber lit building adds to the growing presence of Atlantech fiber lit buildings in commercial areas of Washington, DC.

Recently renovated lobby and common areas upgrade the look of this prime location in the downtown Washington, DC business district. Close to mass transit, retail and dining, the building has recently added to its attractiveness by including Atlantech Online lit fiber.

Now, tenants can provision high speed Internet bandwidth at very affordable prices. Additionally, Atlantech's Hosted PBX service can be utilized by tenants. The rapid adoption of Microsoft Teams can be extended by its use as a softphone on Atlantech's platform. Users often remark of its ease of use and how it has increased productivity of remote work dramatically while also being available at a more aggressive price point than with direct Microsoft Calling Plans. Lastly, tenants can access AWS and Azure as well as other cloud providers using the Atlantech Online Cloud Connect service.

"Our original fiber lit buildings were in suburban Maryland Northern Virginia, but recently, Atlantech Online has had a lot of demand to bring our fiber into buildings in DC. We will continue to light more buildings with fiber to meet this growing demand.  We continue to work with property owners and managers to bring the connectivity they need to their Class A office buildings," stated Ed Fineran, President of Atlantech Online.

If your company is a tenant at 1140 Connecticut Avenue or is planning on re-locating there, please give us a call today for a consultation on your telecom requirements and how Atlantech Online can best meet them.
