Business Phone Service FAQs

What features should I look for in a business phone service?

Essential features include voicemail, call forwarding, conference calling, and caller ID. Advanced services such as those offered by Atlantech Online offer voicemail-to-email, auto-attendant, receptionist console and integration with CRM systems.

How does Atlantech Online VoIP services differ from other carriers?

We have a 99.99% service level agreement that we live by. Atlantech Online will check your LAN capabilities prior to service install to insure that your infrastructure meets requirements for optimizing VoIP conditions. We also install atlantech|sidekick on site to help monitor voice traffic (not listen to calls… but determine quality of the voice service packets) so we can identify and correct any problems.

Can I keep my current business phone number when switching to Atlantech Online?

Yes, because of FCC number portability regulations, we can port any of your phone numbers to our service. We will, of course, coordinate porting of your phone numbers so that the migration is completed in an orderly manner. We have access directly into number porting authority systems. We also have our own database of phone numbers that we can allocate to our customers, should they need new or additional phone numbers.

Can’t we just use our cell phones for our business phone service?

You could… a multi-line phone system allows multiple calls to be made and received simultaneously, which is crucial for businesses to avoid missed calls. This also includes features like line hunting and call transferring which you can’t do with just your ordinary cell phone service.

Are there customizable options for Atlantech Online phone services?

Absolutely. We have scalable solutions tailored for small to large businesses, including customizable plans and pay-as-you-go options to suit different needs and budgets. You can add contact centers, call recording, faxing and even analog services for special use cases like security lines, front door systems and elevator phones.

What kind of customer support can I expect from Atlantech Online?

Atlantech Online offers 24/7 customer support, including troubleshooting, technical assistance, and account management services to ensure seamless communication for your business. We even have Field Service Technicians who can come out on site and correct any cabling issues. Having been a VoIP carrier for almost 20 years, there isn’t any problem we haven’t seen that we can correct.
