Outlook Express

Setting up Outlook Express is very easy. You will need a few pieces of information to start out:

1. Your user name
2. Your password
3. Your email account domain(this would be either atlantech.net or yourcompany.com)

Open up Outlook Express and go to Tools, then Accounts. Select the Mail tab.

To add a new account hit the Add button and then select Mail.
Enter the name that you'd like for your account(usually your name) and hit Next.

Select the first radio button and enter your email address into the box. This should be your username@atlantech.net or username@yourcompany.com. Hit Next.

Select the POP mail server from the drop down menu and then enter pop.atlantech.net for your incoming and smtp.atlantech.net as your outgoing mail servers. If your company has its own domain name(ie. microsoft.com) enter mail.yourdomainname.com as your incoming mail server (POP3) and smtp.atlantech.net for your outgoing mail server (SMTP). Hit Next.

Enter your user name in the Account name box and your password in the box below. Be sure to check the Remember Password box and leave the SPA box unchecked. Hit Next.

Hit Finish and you are now ready to use your brand new Atlantech email account.
