Netscape Mail 6.1

Setting up Netscape Mail 6.1 is very simple. You will need a few pieces of information to start out:

1) Your user name
2) Your password
3) Your email account domain(this would be either atlantech.net or yourcompany.com)

Open up Netscape Mail and go to File and then New and then select Account

Select the first radio button, the ISP or Email provider, and hit Next.

On the next screen enter Your name and your email address in the boxes provided and hit Next.

Select the POP mail server and then enter mail.atlantech.net for your incoming and smtp.atlantech.net as your outgoing mail servers. If your company has its own domain name(ie. microsoft.com) enter mail.yourcompanyname.com as your incoming mail server (POP3) and smtp.atlantech.net for your outgoing mail server (SMTP). Hit Next.

Now enter your user name in the space provided and hit Next.

Finally, enter your account name in the box provided (ie. johndoe@atlantech.net) and hit Next.

Review all of the information on the next screen and hit Finish.

You are now ready to use your brand new Atlantech email account.
