Outlook 2000 Configuration
Moving Tagged Messages
First, go to the Tools menu, then Rules Wizard. Choose
New from the
buttons and the following dialog will appear:
Select "Start from a blank rule" and "Check messages
when they arrive"
and click Next. Then, select "with specific words
in the message
header" and click on the underlined specific words
A new dialog window will pop up and you can insert
the text you
would like to match. In this case, we will be matching
"X-Spam-Level: xxxxx". This corresponds to a Spam Level
of 5.0
or more. You can vary the number of x's. Type what you
want to
match in the box and click add.
Click OK which will take you back to the previous
dialog window.
Click Next to bring up the window to choose what action
to take.
We will be moving to a different folder, so select the
"move it to
the specified folder option:
Click on the underlined specified and a
folder selection window
pops up, click the "New" button
We will call this the "Filtered Spam" folder.
Type "Filtered Spam"
into the Name text field and click the OK button twice.
Click Next twice, and then give our rule a name,
Spam Move. Make
sure "Turn on this rule" is checked, and click the Finish
button.
Deleting Tagged Messages

"X-Spam-Level: xxxxxxxxxx". This corresponds to a Spam
Level of 10.0
or more. You can vary the number of x's. Type what you
want to
match in the box and click Add.
Click OK which will take you back to the previous
dialog window.
Click Next to bring up the window to choose what action
to take.
We will be deleting these messages, so choose "delete
it".
Click Next twice, and then give our rule a name,
Spam Delete. Make
sure "Turn on this rule" is checked, and click the Finish
button. Make
sure that the Delete rule is located above the Move
rule by selecting the
delete rule and clicking the Move Up button.
